I can get Plusnet Webmail using MS Edge and Plusnet Support say it's not their 'can' try Firefox. Screen shot available if required. GG

@housebrowser, hi.

I've just been taking a look and this is a problem with the PlusNet site itself. It appears it is possible to accidentally drag the splitter bar so far up that it gets hidden underneath the top bar. PlusNet stores this data in cookies, so you need to clear those (or get PlusNet to fix the issue).

The easiest thing to do is remove cookies for the webmail site:

  • Log out of webmail.plus.net.
  • Go to Options -> Privacy & Security.
  • Now find the Cookies and Site Data and click Manage Data
  • In the dialog that comes up, search for "webmail.plus.net".
  • Select the result, and then select "Remove Selected"
  • Select "Save Changes"
  • Acknowledge the warning that comes up.
  • Close the options tab.
  • Open webmail.plus.net (or reload it if you still have it open) and log in again.

At this stage, you should be reset to a good state. You might want to check your settings to see that they are still what you expect.

Regretfully no, it didn't solve my problem. I did everything by the book but still get an incomplete PlusNet Webmail screen, attached is a shot of PlusNet Webmail taken in Microsoft Edge browser.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Many thanks for your efforts so far Guys/Gals, they are gratefully received.

I was trying different things yesterday and clicked on the top incoming 'Mail' button and was surprised by a response in the 'Subject' area.

I created a short video showing what happened when I clicked the top 'Mail' icon, unfortunately I don't seem to be able to upload it, my BB is not what it should be. I've attached a shot showing what happens when the 'Mail' icon is clicked, note the content of the 'Subject' bar. Looks like it's what we're looking for !

Hope this helps, thought I'd send it before I explore your responses in case it prompted a 'Eureka' moment.

Thanks guys, the Standard8 solution proved successful, you wouldn't think that cookies could cause such upsets. Thanks again, you've made an old man very happy (been with Moz since Netscape Navigator !!)
