Firefox can't open new tabs, focus in the address bar or go to the preferences / add-ons screen

My Firefox has randomly broken itself overnight. I'm on the latest version as of the 28th of March 2018.

When I start Firefox, I get no focus ring in the top search bar. I'm completely unable to open a new tab. If I try to open Preferences, it takes a good 30 seconds to do so, and once it opens I can't interact with the page other than scrolling it. I can't open the addons screen, or do anything else with the browser. Every interaction with the browser has a significant delay.

When I restart in safe mode, none of these problems occur. Please note I have tried the following steps already:

- Disabled all addons - Removed all addons - Disabled custom themes - Reverted to default theme - Disabled hardware acceleration

Can anyone please help? My browser is basically completely non-functional for no apparent reason. Please note that literally every other piece of software on my machine works fine, including other browsers like Safari and Chrome.

Please Refresh but do this 1st: Delete your Cookies and Cache and TEST.

TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.
