I have tried refreshing and reinstalling FF. Nothing seems to solve this issue. I hear that version 41.0 is has problems. Is that right?

I downloaded vs. 41.0.1 and it looks like the problem is resolved. Thanks!

hi MaccT, there is currently an increase of such reports and the source seem to be sites that have embedded flash plugin content. firefox developers are looking into that issue and investigating a fix.

would you be willing to see if the problem is fixed with this test build and report back with your results soon?: https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/candidates/41.0.1-candidates/build2/win32/ (click on your language, then download and install the "Firefox Setup 41.0.1.exe")

Phillip,

I don't have time to do that at the moment. I will wait for a fix and deal with it the best I can for the time being. Thank you for your reply.

Phillip,

Any idea when the FF developers will publish a fix?

you can go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > about firefox - you should already get the update to 41.0.1 there...

I am already running vs. 41.0.1 and sadly this didn't work for me. I still get the 'Firefox is not responding' eventually. Sorry!
