I don't think there is any built-in way to do it.

To call up the dialog with the Bookmarks Menu instead of Unsorted Bookmarks, you can use any of these methods:

  • Ctrl+d
  • right-click a blank area of the page and click the star icon on the context menu
  • (menu bar) Bookmarks menu > Bookmark This Page

This extension might help with customizing the "star" icon: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2/
