I HAVE BEEN USING FIREFOX FOR YEARS. I HAVE ALSO BEEN USING MY CREDIT UNION ALL THIS TIME TILL LAST WEEK. NOW I CAN'T EVEN ACCESS THEIR WEB PAGE TO LIST MY MEMBER ACCOUNT NUMBER. IT KEEPS SAYING THE PEER SIGNATURE IS INVALID AND WILL GO NO FURTHER.

IS THIS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FIREFOX UPDATE I INSTALLED 2 WEEKS AGO???

THE CREDIT UNION TOLD ME TO GO TO: ABOUT:CONFIG THEN TO SECURITY:TLS.VERSION.MAX THEN NUMBER 3.

NOTHING CHANGED.

MY CREDIT UNION IS: CLEARCHOICEFCU.ORG/

Okay, I understand you are upset, but writing in ALL CAPS is considered shouting on most websites, so no need to do that.

This page seems to have a valid certificate (using www):

https://www.clearchoicefcu.org/

Does that one load for you?

When I click login on that page, it goes to a completely different site:

https://www.netbranch.app.fiserv.com/clearchoicefcu/

Does that page load for you?

Since I'm not a member, I can't get much further...

Have you noticed any other errors with secure sites lately or just this one?

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Clear Firefox's Cache

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site (if possible), try either:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • click the padlock or globe icon in the address bar > More Information > "View Cookies"

In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
