enlarge font of incoming emails and my email folders

more options

I have problems viewing the tiny print on my email folders and incoming email due to macular degeneration. I can't find info how to correct the font size. I did it once but Microsoft just serviced my computer and it's back to being small.

In Firefox, the zoom feature probably is your best bet. You can zoom the contents of any site using one of these approaches:

  • On the "3-bar" menu, the + button to the right of the current zoom percentage to enlarge (click - to shrink)
  • Ctrl+ using any + key on the keyboard to enlarge (Ctrl- to shrink)
  • Holding Ctrl while scrollin the mouse wheel

Generally speaking the default zoom level for the browser toolbar area and all sites is based on your Windows text size setting. If your Windows text size setting was reduced, that could explain the issues in Firefox. Microsoft has a help article for adjusting that here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/get-best-display-monitor

If you want to enlarge BOTH the user interface AND the page content even more than your Windows text size setting, we can assist with a settings change for that.

If you only want to enlarge one of those, there are different add-ons for each.
