Hi, I have one website unobtainable, namely www.topcashback.co.uk, clicking through it loads to a complete white page no errors showing. I am using firefox 33.0 and do not want to update because my Appearance Add On becomes disabled in later versions. With testing a new profile still in 33.0 same problem. But it will load in the updated 36.0 and other browsers. I am looking for a workaround here, obviously very strange to only be affecting the one site mentioned. It could also be the site that has updated also, because this problem happened 2 days ago. So maybe one of you clever fellas, lassies could come up with a solution, would appreciate any help.

If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Hi Cor-el, 

               I have tried all your suggestions with no success and this link and suggestions here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can, from FredMcD. 
              I can only add that the sister site topcashback .com loads, no probs. but co.uk does not. Even my e-mail links to the site produce the same white page. I have used firefox for years and never encountered such a weird problem. I know nothing about how web sites are built, but to throw this out there, would the website have updated and changed a script etc. that,s now incompatible with 33.0? Also, internet explorer 9 which i have will load the site.

There are some sites that act as a proxy to access blocked web sites.
