I always find ebay thumbnails slow to fill in on a 200 item page. Is there any tweak to the options that will speed this up? Specifically, I want to know this: am i better off totally disabling the disk cache for firefox or making it a specific size? Any other tweaks welcome as well... thank you

It really depends on your internet speed, but there are a few steps which may speed up loading a little bit.

Cache is designed to make webpages load faster, but if your cache is full, it can actually slow down the browser.

How to reset the cache:

  1. Press ALT on your keyboard.
  2. Click History in the menu bar.
  3. Click Clear Recent History....
  4. Set Time range to clear: to Everything.
  5. Expand the Details list.
  6. Check the Cache option and uncheck everything else.
  7. Click Clear Now.

Try loading an Ebay webpage again. I'm not implying that this will fully resolve your issue as it ultimately depends on your internet speed, but it may help.

If you're using Wi-fi, you can try moving your computer/laptop or your device closer to your router. That'll definitely speed up your connection.
