(86) mozilla firefox v29.1 has a problem with canadaltax.com inbeded
I am using Avast Premium. I loaded Firefox 29.1 and now every time firefox moves I get the message from Avast that they have blocked 'canadaaltax.com' and my computer is very slow now. I tried going back to v28 but it still happens. It appears v29 deleted a bunch of items and replaced them with a hacked version. my next step is to remove firefox and then load v28 or something older as it appears that "canadaaltax is in anything 'NEW".

What is canadaltax.com? A program or a web site?
Why did Avast block it?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar.. Then Tools > Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.
Did an upgrade of FF with v29.1 Firefox. Avast said it blocked "http://mozilla firfox.exe" It said HTTP://canadaaltax.com... was a MAL It is blocked but it is aggravating to see that message every time FF makes a move. The (86) mozilla firefox.exe has a problem.
Did you get your Firefox from Mozilla.org? If you got it from another web site, there could be mal-ware inside the installer.
