Since purchasing new computer am forced to use internet explorer as Firefox is causing text on many websites to display in yellow. Some sites have just a few lines that display in yellow and other like craigslist are 80 to 90% yellow text. I cannot read this text at all.

Other things that need your attention:

Your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 13.0 d0
  2. Shockwave Flash 12.0 d0
  3. Shockwave Flash 11.9 d900

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove all (older) version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and (re)install the latest Flash player.

That's strange. The display is yellow text on a white (or other light colored) background?

To see whether one of your extensions is the culprit, could you try the same sites in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?
