I open accidentally a mail, and go, instantly a page back (before the mail is opened), with a mouse click (it's like a reflex). but firefox is here crushing down. if i'm going to fast a page back firefox is crushing down, every time (i could just observe it by the e-mail, i don't use a extra program for mails, just the standard page from hotmail.com) and today i couldn't even kill the process, in order to start it again.

also try

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

To Enable SafeMode

  • You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
  • Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
  • Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox"; Linux: "Firefox/File > Quit")

here are the latest 5, there all differently, but it it's always the same cause bp-7d50e79c-aafd-4c06-b20a-8715a21307277/27/2013 6:01 PM bp-976f67ae-2817-47d0-b0fe-71b1c21307277/27/2013 9:56 AM bp-b29f9174-7421-4290-b22e-91f3221307267/26/2013 9:49 AM 19a215f3-9e08-4175-9b1a-16cd49cd1bcd7/23/2013 10:58 PM 41a30b17-8644-4b5f-8e3e-ff4608746a8e7/23/2013 9:10 PM i try it again, with disabled addons and in safe mode btw. my OS is win 7 x64 and i use firefox 22.0

thats strange, in the safe mode it works, but if i disable all the add-ons by hand, it crushs anyway ~.~

the reason was not the addons, it was the hardware acceleration -.-"
