Right click the folder, select properties and then use the repair button. And get you antivirus out of your Thunderbird profile folder while it is running.

You have been aware of the need for an exception for the profile folder in antivirus since 2015 at least, have you implemented it? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1079237
