The link in the above page appears to do nothing (ie takes >1 min when all the other links in firefox are measured in secs), and I cannot see an address when I hover over the link. I am running Windows 10 home vers 1709 and Firefox v57

Go to about:support by typing it in the URL bar, press enter, and then click on Refresh Firefox. If this solved your problem, mark as solution.

Why do you want to do a refresh? Please explain your problem in detail.


If you still want to refresh, holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Refresh

You should learn how to use the ProfileManager instead if you need to create a new Profile which is what the Refresh feature does in a more awkward way.
