I am on the release update channel for Thunderbird (and always have been) but when I launch Thunderbird it says 'Welcome to Daily" in the webviewing section?

It seems to be a bug in what Start page is displaying. Go to Help_About Thunderbird and if you are on Version 45.1 you are on the normal release channel. Either turn off the Start Page or ignore it until they fix the bug.
