options button does not work and I cannot type in an address into the bar and hit enter as it just stays on the same page, also cannot use search box
If I type a web address into the title box nothing happens when you hit enter it just stays on whatever page you are on, you cannot search from the search box and the options button on the page does nothing and the bookmarks button shows nothing but all bookmarks are still stored??

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If the Places Maintenance extension can't repair the places.sqlite database file then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database file from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
