trying to install firefox and I keep getting "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous uninstall of Firefox. Do you want to reboot now?"

I answer yes, the system reboots and then nothing happens. I try to reinstall and have to go through the same sequence with the same results. I have Windows Vista Operating System. I have checked the uninstall program under control panel and neither Firefox nor Mozilla Firefox are shown for uninstalling. Are there some files somewhere tat maybe my uninstall program did not get? I would apprec iate any help I can get.

You can remove the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) manually if you can't uninstall.
