Thunderbird Doesn't Authenticate Yahoo, but Yahoo Confirms Access
For the past 3-4 days, I am unable to successfully add my Yahoo New Mail account to Thunderbird.
The app says it cannot authenticate my account, but Yahoo confirms Thunderbird's access.
I'm using Thunderbird Version 155.0.1 (64-bit). I reinstalled it after cleaning the installation of Windows 11 25H2 a few days ago.
Please help. I need to move all my Gmail messages to Yahoo, and Thunderbird is the only option I have.
Thank you in advance!

Please note: I get codes in Yahoo New Mail, but there is no place to enter them in Thunderbird or on Yahoo's login page.
Can I assume this is an IMAP account and you are using OAuth2 as the authentication method? If so,
Please make sure Cookies are allowed, and delete any existing passwords for this account/username in <Settings | Privacy & Security | Passwords | Saved Passwords>. Then restart Thunderbird and you should be prompted for your credentials.
After trying a few times, I could finally log in to Yahoo on Thunderbird maybe 2-3 hours ago.
I am wondering why this happened in the first place, and how to fix this without having to restart everything. It's very strange, since Yahoo said each time that Thunderbird has access to my account.
