Trying to start using new laptop HP Omnibook 7 14". All going well, but small differences are a problem. I think I had it all yesterday, but today when I read emails and put them in "trash" I could not find the empty trash icon, not in the trash icon nor in the menu above.

I am not aware of a button for empthing the trash. I know two ways to do it: the "File" menu, and the drop-down menu that appears after one right-clicks on the trash folder.

If the menu is not visible, press the <alt> key.
