First thing this morning thunderbird not working with verizon emails

have gone into mail.aol.com and changed incoming and outgoing passwords, and supplied them into Thunderbird. Can see the new passwords in Tbird Security

Tbird still will not accept them

Do you have these settings for the Verizon account?

imap.aol.com, 993, SSL/TLS, OAuth2, email address

smtp.aol.com, 465, SSL/TLS, OAuth2, email address

If you're seeing the passwords in Saved Passwords, it's because the authentication is (incorrectly) 'normal password' instead of OAuth2.
