I want to receive my own messages sent to discussion lists

I recently converted to Thunderbird after using TheBat! for 20+ years. With TheBat!, I always received a copy of my own messages that were sent to various discussion lists. With Thunderbird, I am not receiving those messages. I have checked my accounts at the discussion lists and I should be receiving the messages.

I don't find any settings in Thunderbird Preferences that reference this type of option, nor do I find an Add-on.

Thanks for any assistance. Jim

There is no option in Thunderbird for that, although some mailing lists may do that.
