2 PC with gmail IMAP - synchronized tag: Important

hi all! I ha 2 Windows PCs, on each of them I have installed Thunderbird and configured my gmail account (IMAP); so: 2 PC, 2 Thunderbird, 1 account gmail;

when I tag a message as Important on one PC, I find the same tag on the other PC for the same message; how does it happen? is the tag Important dealing with some attribute in gmail? ...or is it a magic trick?

Tags will synchronize across multiple computers if the IMAP server supports keywords; not all do.
