I have setup a search folder in the most recent version of Thunderbird for Mac (2/12/2020) [which scans my Inbox) and I need the contents of the search criteria, in list form, I have entered to review it effectively.........and not just scroll through each page and write them down as I review each of them. Is there a physical file in the Mac OS which holds Thunderbird search folder criteria I could export or cut/paste such information from?

This way I know better what to add or cutout when I need to change parameters.

Please let me know and feel free to ask a counter-question if you need a better idea of what I am doing.

Thanks.

Chosen solution

When you create a saved search, the details are written to the virtualFolders.dat file in the profile folder. I wouldn't recommend editing the file directly, which can be viewed in a text editor. To open the profile folder, Help/Troubleshooting, click Show in Finder (Mac) or Open Folder (Windows).
