I have used Eudora 7.1.0.9 forever but I want to successfully convert Thunderbird without incident so how do I do this?

I believe you need to use https://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/38.8.0/ because import is broken in newer versions. After you do your import, then update to newer thunderbird.

I have this problem as well. When I try Version 38 I get an error that tells me to check Temporary Directory settings - but I don't find anything to check???
