I have a corrupted Windows 10 and need to "Refresh PC" which removes third party software. Will I lose my Thunderbird e-mails?

Suddenly, I can't access my photos in Windows 10. I receive a "The remote procedure call failed," and when I try to ask a question by pushing Windows and R key I receive a "windows can not find ...." message. I have tried numerous fixes and am down to Refresh PC. I want to know if I will lose all my e-mails when Refresh PC removes third party software like Mozilla Thunderbird? If so, can I back up my e-mails to a flash drive and if so how? thanks

You should make a copy of your entire Thunderbird Profiles folder. See: Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages and other user data. Make sure you are backing up the profiles folder under "AppData\Roaming".
