how do i keep stop script from popping up, when i delete? too slow to delete

when i delete e-mail, stop script pops up. this is annoying and time consuming. i want to hit the delete key and the selected e-mails will be deleted.

Something on your system is slowing things up.

Start *Windows'* safe mode with networking enabled - win7 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Still In Windows safe mode, start thunderbird in safe mode - https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
