FireFox will no longer "remember" the window position (full screen) on closing and reopening.

In previous versions of FireFox I was able to have the browser window set to full screen (either by F11 or under the FF settings menu) and Firefox would remember that setting on closing the browser. On opening it again it would open in full screen mode with toolbar hidden (what I wanted).

Now I have FF 43 and this behavior no longer happens. I would prefer to have FF launch in full screen mode every time rather than having to use F11 or the menu setting if possible. At one time there was a trick with the userChrome.css file but that seems to no longer work (as that's what I used previously).

Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To it’s right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

Delete or rename the xulstore.json file. Restart Firefox.
