Regarding: Thunderbird Version 128.11.1esr 　 Please tell me how to make folder pane wider than the system default width of the vertical layout. The reason of this question is that I cannot see full of folder names under the system default width.

I am able to style tasks that are either completed/overdue/inprogress in userChrome.css . But so far I have not found a way to style canceled tasks.

Can someone help me ?

After a power outage I restarted the computer and brought up Mozilla Thunderbird the email template I use and for my emails from GMail. All eamils with content from outside such as Amazon, Ebay, and other sites I use I cannot get the content to load up. I went into settings under "privacy" and clicked on allow all remote content and nothing happened. The "Option" tab on those emails is not anywhere to be seen that will allow me to click on it and from a drop down menu allow that content to be seen either.

How do I get back to content on those emails instead of the plain text that shows nothing of any content?

I just tried to change my local folders location. I first copied everything from the current location to the new location and then changed the location in the local folders settings. When I restarted, all of the folders appeared but all of the saved emails were gone. When I tried to reset the location to the original one I received the following message.

A subdirectory of the directory specified in the Local Directory setting is already used by the "jde@ehrenkrook.com" account. Please use a different directory (also attached)

How can I get all of the saved emails in the local directory to move as well?

Only in ~last two months *some* special characters and jpg images are being lost when email passed from att/Yahoo to TB. They are all present in Yahoo. Two friends using TB or Betterbird are both receiving these emails intact. My TB is set for auto update and I'm now at 128.11.1 est and there was a recent update. Problem never experienced before. What setting change could cause this? How to fix? In attached screenshot, opening quote s/b a large quote special character and image of book s/b in empty box. Thanks, Lynne

i have multiple Thunderbird profiles which i start using seperate Shortcuts (.desktop files) and arguments: thunderbird -P 'profile-1' %u thunderbird -P 'profile-2' %u

But these seperate Profiles always get grouped together in the Taskbar. How can i avoid this? For FF there is some about:config setting (taskbar.grouping.useprofile)

When I highlight/select an email message and then switch the sort option from Date to From, the same email is no longer highlighted and selected. The highlighting changes to a softer color and I have to select the email message again. The message selected should still be selected when switching the sort option.

I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps. I have a thunderbird account with access from three different computers. I have two issues with the account: after more or less a week the last thirtish emails trasfer automatically to trash, so I usually retransfer them to the inbox manually. BUT this week they have been permanently deleted. Not by me, the emails just disappeared... they are not in the trash. Nor in the spam folder, nor archive. I understand I cannot recover the last emails, but I would like to know why the emails are transferring to the trash automatically in the first place. I tried looking at the settings but I didn't find anything out of the ordinary. Please let me know, thanks!

Is there a way to hide all folders from Unified Folders except for the Inboxes? I have both, Unified Folders and All Folders visible in the sidebar. For drafts, sent, junk, trash, templates, etc. I prefer to use the respective folders under each email account shown All Folders. But I very much like the Unified Inbox. What I would like to achieve (see the little mock-up image I made):

• A Unified Inbox (expandable to show individual inboxes, as it is now).
• Then directly under that, I want the All Folders section to show.

From reading up on the Unified Folders I understand that they are just Saved Searches. So I thought of creating a new custom Saved Search and include all the Inboxes. But unfortunately that seems only possible as subfolders of specific accounts. So I tried and created a Saved Search with all inboxes and IMAP search on under Local Folders. But I can't move it to the top of the list. And it also is not expandable to show individual inboxes as under Unified Folders. Any ideas if something like on the image below is possible to achieve?
