Hi, it's driving me crazy. Thunderbird suddenly and randomly switches to dark mode. making some things unreadable. As Soon as I open Tools --> Add ons and Themes and… (pročitajte više)

it's driving me crazy. Thunderbird suddenly and randomly switches to dark mode. making some things unreadable.

As Soon as I open Tools --> Add ons and Themes and then close it again everything is back to normal. I checked and the system setting is on "Light", so that doesn't solve it.

Can anyone pl;ease, pretty please tell me how I can switch this behaviour off? Any suggestion will help and I would appreciate if I don't need to dig up the Windows version, build, Thunderbird update versions and all these requests for numbers, which should not effect it. Any suggestion is welcome.

I followed the steps to copy the profile from the old PC and paste it into the folder on the old PC.

Thunderbird is using that profile, but there are no email history or address book.

I have tried all the resetting of passwords and each item in the account settings ( I think I have). Each time when I test it says that the incoming server was found. Nothing about the outgoing server. I'm using Windows 11 and I think the latest Thunderbird version. I really need help to get past this. Further, when I attempt to send with "Control - Enter " keys, The error message uses the wrong server name.

My Thunderbird app worked fine for over a year and then I noticed that it had stopped downloading after December 20, 2024. I was able to write emails and send them successfully but none of my incoming emails arrived (I have access over my phone). This problem occurred shortly after my APP upgraded to Thunderbird version 128.5esr. I've downloaded the Thunderbird installer and run it but the program still refuses to download my emails. I am trying to set up for a friend the Thunderbird email client for his BT internet account but am encountering problems.

When using the BT recommended settings: POP3 settings Incoming Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com Port: 995 SSL Encryption: SSL/TLS Username: email address xxxxxxxx@btinternet.com Password: btinternet password SMTP settings Outgoing Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com Port: 465 SSL Encryption: SSL/TLS Authentication: btinternet password Username: email address xxxxxxxx@btinternet.com Password: your btinternet password

I receive the message “Unable to login in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password.

However if I change the POP connection security to “None”. All is well.

Can somebody please advise.

Hello, in last times it going in my Inbox many Billings at Zugferd-Format. Zugferd is an German *.PDF Format with *.XML. Now i can open an Email with Billing in Zugferd, and the attachment as *.Pdf. I see the '.PDF. Wen i want to Print the Attchment *.PDF there comes White Paper as the Printer.

Wen it make an Download the *.Pdf, open with Acrobat PDF Viewer an Print ist all Ready only in Thunderbird i have Probleme with Zugferd *.PDF Print.

Last night you updated my Thunderbird to version 128.9.1esr. Now my email messages, which occupy an entire screen (and always did), display differently and very inconveniently. There are no images anymore--such as the logo of sender company the top the page. Instead, there's a very long blue URL link to each image. This happens same goes for for all images that previously displayed automatically. Also the text has no spaces anymore, so it is hard to read. How do I get back to the wonderful presentation my emails used to have?

Hi, I am thinking of converting from MS Outlook (Office365) to Thunderbird. One of the features that I use extensively is Outlook's colour categories, to distinguish between different categories of emails (e.g. client emails, emails relating to infrastructure, etc). This is used for filtering and sorting emails. Does Thunderbird support colour categories for emails and if so, if I use a 3rd party app to convert my OST files to the Thunderbird format (which I understand is MBOX), will the existing categories for my emails from Outlook carry over to Thunderbird?
