Choice of search engine is problematic

I recently discovered ecosia.org search engine and decided to add it to Firefox on my mobile device. However when I search for something, the attached '404' page is shown… (pročitajte više)

I recently discovered ecosia.org search engine and decided to add it to Firefox on my mobile device. However when I search for something, the attached '404' page is shown. This invites me to 'return to ecosia.org' and re-enter the search parameters. Perhaps I entered the wrong URL for ecosia.org? Does it try to load the browser of that name instead of the search engine?

The sound input icon prevents me from typing the site name. I do not use voice input, much less use Google. The input field is small and it is not convenient to edit the name of the site where you are going to go and then voice input is distracting.
