i setup synology openvpn and can log in via Chrome on my phone (openvpn is setup on phone also to connect to NAS). However, doing the same thing with FF causes FF to do a google search and it comes back saying it cant search it because it is AI or gives me a blank screen that goes no where. For the record, Samsung browser doesnt work either. It isnt a showstopper because Chrome works. But I would like to know why FF does not work and if it is pilot error. I use the same address I use in chrome (https://192.168.xxx.xxx:5001) and also the ddns address https://[name].synology.me:5001 that produces the AI message.

I suspect the issues is the latest "we are protecting you" mindset.

I have a home-grown Home Automation system. I use a web interface that allows me to send some commands to my HA system through a web browser. The web server is an Apache server sitting on a machine inside my network.

Suddenly, I can no longer use my phone to control the system (to turn off all the lights once I am in bed). I tracked the issue down to a refusal of Firefox to go to a 192.168.1.x address.

Do I need to abandon Firefox or can this issue be resolved peacefully?

I believe in a recent update clicking a link in my email apps to open a website on my phone has stopped opening the link in my main Firefox Browser app, and instead is opening in this pseudo web browser tied to the email apps. I have tried it with links in both gmail and AOL and they both open in this pseudo browser that I then have to click a meatball menu and select to open the page in Firefox proper. I am just trying to figure out if this is a setting I am missing so I don't have to go through extra steps each time I'm just trying to open a link.

Apparently, there must be a flaw with Mozilla Account where it relates to being logged in and the browser crashing within 2 minutes of use. WHENCi'm logged into my Mozilla Account to sync bookmarks, etc., the browser crashes within about 2 minutes of browsing after the fact. I know about there being some issue with Java causing the issue, (see prior questions posed in this forum), but it's getting pretty dawned annoying. Ai have to LOG OUT of the Mozilla Account to be able to use the browser.

This mainly occurs on a Samsung Galaxy Tab running the latest version of Android and Samsung's One UI. this is still occurring despite updating to the current Android version of the browser. I'm attaching a screenshot of the most recent crashes that Haven't experienced for review.

Can someone please look into this issue? If a solution can be found, can it be pushed out automatically?

THANKS!
