how can i restore control of my device? I keep receiving this: "someone else, like a parent or administrator, controls settings on the network, browser or device that you’re using", but it is my device and I am a 41 year old adult.

I REALLY don't want to see prompts like this ... when FF upgrades to a newer release. I postponed clicking on adding this application since I really didn't know what it as going to do, or how to remove it once done. The little 'i' in the red circle did nothing. So - I finally clicked on it to make it go away. Not hat I call a very seamless upgrade.

Firefox 151.0.1 64 bit for Arch Linux I am trying to create a desktop app from a website - the ai is saying if there is no + sign in the url box then try More Tools -> Create Shortcut but there is no Create shortcut there. So how to create a desktop app from a website?

I do not have any of the Deprecated preference settings in use.

The error presented is -2016281112 and checking the respective settings in about:config on a synchronised device shows that the settings have not applied.

Feedback on Firefox Widgets – Missing Indian Standard Time (IST)

I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighboring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please consider adding Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widget's global coverage and usability.

System Windows 11 - Firefox 151.0.3 All normal actions from mouse right click have disappeared eg open link in new tab or private window, copy, paste etc etc. The Settings General - Tabs has not changed and previously worked rt click ok. Any help to restore the rt click function will be appreciated.

My mouse is setup so that the tilt wheel does Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab rather then whatever actions the tilt wheel would normally send, and that has worked fine for years, but now all of a sudden it is not working in Firefox, it's changing the zoom level instead which is not what I want. Firefox must be reading the mouse directly or something, because it shouldn't even be getting normal tilt wheel events.

But I wish to bind these buttons to previous tab / next tab How can I accomplish this ? Thanks

Firefox has been automatically updated on Windows 11 and Tahoe, and now every time I close the browser, all tabs close – even the pinned ones – despite the ‘Open previous windows and tabs’ option being selected at startup.

I copy (Ctrl+C) some text from Chrome , and want to paste in Firefox (Ctrl+V) whey need to move to the icon and click the icon 1 more time , then Firefox can let me past the text ? I don't want this function , downgrade the performance seriously.

I think can change it back in settings , no need to move to the icon and click .

Firefox opens on my second monitor despite my confirming my primary monitor as 1 in Windows 11 I have tried on many occasions to "lock" Firefox onto monitor 1 via settings in Win 11 and Firefox, but it still opens probably 3 times out of 5 on the 2nd monitor. My version is 151.0.3

i want to be able to change the hotkey corresponding to go to left/right tab which the default is Ctrl+Pg Up/Dn in my lenovo thinkpad keyboard. and in about:keyboard that option is not available, in fact the hotkey isnt even mentioned

Can I lock in my Zoom setting to 120. When I am scrolling up or down a page, My 120 zoom goes crazy. There has to be a way to lock my zoom rate to 120. I can lock in my zoom rate with Chrome. Why not Mozilla?

It seems a pity that Gmail is not an App on Windows and that one has to browse to open a gmail account..

I was playing a game hat required dialogues and I accidentally clicked the "Stop site from making Dialogues" check box and i cant undo it, I've tried reloading the site but that didnt work, and that was the only suggestion i could find.

Running Windows 11 on Dell DB16250 Laptop. Using Firefox, updated. I want to use Firefox and eliminate Edge always. Is there a way to remove Edge from being default for ALL file types? --- Some types, like .pdf, I will associate with in that case Adobe Acrobat (of course). Others I may leave with NO association. If I chance on one of those files I'll select then. I do not want Edge to be triggered by ANY file type. --- Can I wipe Edge from all of the type associations Microsoft ties to Edge in some general way? Or must I go through the list and un-Edge them one by one? --- Thank you.
