Starting with version 126.0.0, firefox for MacOS stopped creating a defaults/pref folder during installation. If you create it yourself and add the autoconfig.js there, and add firefox.cfg to the root, firefox reads them perfectly and applies the settings. However, if you create folders before the first launch of the browser after installation, the file integrity check fails (see screenshot).

I couldn't find any information about why the folders stopped being created. Maybe someone knows?

Dear Sir/Madame. I have tried to figure out how to get Mozilla (Firefox) to store my bank card details so I do not need to fill it in over and over again. The information I find on Internet is either from 2020 or do not work. Do you have any solutions to suggest me?

Whenever I use FaceBook group calls, most of time I am not able to hear other FB users but they can hear me. This typically happens for the 2nd group call in login session. the way I am trying to resolve currently is log off, clear data and history in Firefox browser and then re-login and there is no problem. I do not know why this problem occurs only in Firefox, I do not see this issue in other browsers such as Chrome or Edge. can you please identify the cause and resolve it, it is very irritating. or let me know the solution for this issue.

Hi! I have a new laptop and want to export a certificate I had installed in my previous laptop. When trying to do so, I'm asked to choose a certificate backup password which I need to enter twice to validate. Once I do it, this message comes up, "Failed to create the PKCS #12 backup file for unknown reasons". I've tried several times with different passwords but the same issue remains. Can you please help me out with this? Many thanks! Alex

Hello, for two months now I've been unable to use Paypal to buy anything on Firefox. Nothing I have done has changed and it's gone from a nuisance to me considering new browsers. I need to be able to pay for things.

I've attached an image to show where it always freezes.

Currently running Version 130, x64 on Windows 10, but this is not the first time this happens. After update, all tabs of the previous saved sessions display a hourglass icon and nothing gets loaded. Same thing happens if you open a new tab to load a new website. After a kajillion restarts this seems to fix itself, but it is as annoying as it gets.

The other day I accidentally pressed a keystroke that changed a Firefox setting, and now it thinks I'm on a mobile device/displays sites in mobile view where possible by default. This has persisted despite restarts of the browser and the computer and has been happening since Sunday (Australian time). I've tried opening the Responsive Design dev tool and I've sent screenshots to a techsavvy friend (I'm totally blind and use a screen-reader, so couldn't tell this was happening until I tried to use a site that had a radically different layout in mobile view), and aside from not seeing an exit button or a switch to change device mode, he couldn't tell what was going on.

I'm stuck and need help! I would like to unmobile my Firefox!

I would like to search for "CV." in a page. However in the page there are plenty of "CV. xxxxx"

So question is how could I search for the term NOT "CV. xxxxx" and that would yield only "CV."
