My father used my computer and synced all of his firefox “stuff”, i need to get rid of all of it.

I tried to log in, but came across a message that told me it would just merge with his stuff. I would like his bookmarks and passwords gone so that only mine occupy the browser.

Is there a reset?

Hi, I am having this problem where I am watching a video and there is a very annoying white line at the top of the screen, I have already tried the trick to turn off the titlebar but its still there. My version is updated all the way as well, what do I do now?

Does Firefox support webAuthn passkeys stored by the browser? I have an app that I am working on and I would like to be able to use this feature.

If Firefox cannot store passkeys can you explain why this has not been added?

Hi Folks, Recently I have been having an issue with accessing a particular website which is asus.com and the nature of the issue is as follows. Every time I attempt to login I receive the following error message.

The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.

   "Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your device’s data or Wi-Fi connection."

It should be noted that this is the only website that I am having this issue any and all assistance in resolving this extremely annoying issue will be greatly appreciated

Firefox used to close completely when I close the last tab. The last update broke that behavior. How can I get it back the way it was? This new behavior is sick!!!

I used to be able to clear all data with no problem, but now it's holding to Gmail login data (I think that's the problem, anyway). I clear all data after each browsing session and have been doing so for a long time, but it's not working anymore. But it is working on my husband's laptop and we're on the same version of Windows (11) and have the same settings. Can someone please assist in figuring out what's happening behind the scenes? I have 2 machines (Win10 and Win11) with FF 140.3.1esr (32-bit) installed which demonstrates the same failure when I enter one site's url:

PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Chrome at the same machines goes at this url w/o any failures. Any ideas what to change on "about:config" in FF to allow it opening this url w/o such error?

For some reason, all my text has been showing up as bold on my Firefox web browser. However, the same sites do not appear as bold on the mobile Firefox app or in a private Firefox web browser.

While I thought it applied to many different fonts, it seems to specifically target Roboto. This is especially troublesome because my photography website has all body text as Roboto:

This was not always the case, but one day everything began appearing bold several weeks ago. Text that is italicized seems to stay in italics and not bold.

Hello, Firefox won't save my download history between sessions, history is set to remember. I tried doing the refresh on the installer and even reinstalling firefox and deleting all mozilla folders in %localappdata% and %appdata% before reinstalling. it just forgets all downloads once I close firefox.

My shortcuts no longer appear on my homepage. This just started happening. Shortcuts are still enabled in my settings. I refreshed Firefox. The shortcuts reappeared for a while, then disappeared again when I closed/reopened Firefox. I am on Windows 11 O/S

Please let me know how to get my favorite sites back on my home screen. I use them a lot as they are real time savers. When I signed on this morning, it asked if I wanted Firefox to access my computer. I've always said yes and the updates have never caused a problem - until today.

I would appreciate an email ([edited email from community support forum]) letting me know how to get this to work.

When I do "save as " action for an image in the browser it opens dialogue window to save selected image. Unfortunately it displays files and folders in some random order, rather than my preferred order (sorted alphabetically by name, followed by sorting by type).

I can see no rhyme or reason to the way Firefox lists files and folders in the dialogue window, so every time I am saving an image I have to sort things by name and type before I can find what I want.

This is not permanent so I have to repeat this action every time I save an image.

How do I, please set application preferences? to make this setting permanent?

Hello, I imported Bookmarks when I came to Firefox from a previous browser. The experience was terrible and challenges still linger. Firefox has come a long way, however UX still seems to be a 2nd class citizen. Bookmarks now has somewhat duplicate directories and this in turn is causing desktop/phone sync doubt and is likely missing bookmarks.

When sync breaks, it is so confusing. How can I simply have a working Bookmarks sync on desktop/phone?

Perhaps there was a challenge when I need Bookmarks to appear in the top bar when a new Tab is opened, as this was contrary to default Firefox settings.

I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?
