Hello. 😊 I have a question about my copy of Firefox for Windows v152.0.6 x64. (For the record, I have nasty feeling that I'm using the wrong forum; but the address bar says I'm in the right one.)

In my main profile, the one that I have been using for years, the "Home and Startup" part of my settings page shows the following:

- Firefox Home

 - Search
 - **Weather**
 - Shortcut
 - Support Firefox
 - Recent Activity
   - Visited pages
   - Bookmarks
   - Most recent download
   - [Choose a wallpaper]
 - Firefox logo

Today, I went to about:profiles and created a new profile. This new profile offers different settings:

- Firefox Home

 - Search
 - **Widgets**
   - **Lists**
   - **Timer**
   - **Sports**
   - **Clock**
   - **Weather**
 - Shortcuts
 - Support Firefox
 - Recent Activity
   - Visited pages
   - Bookmarks
   - Most recent download
   - [Choose a wallpaper]
 - Firefox logo

That's strange, isn't it? Why the difference? And how can get all the goodies of the new profile under my old profile?

I turn that off and still no Twitter and your system turns it back on again all by itself, your settings are doing what they want to do, not what I SAY to do. Now, I cannot get into Twitter.

Why is it so difficult for Facebook to function like it does in Chrome. I am a Firefox user on Windows 11. Facebook should function freely and without having to wait for actions to complete. I want Facebook to work normally on Firefox. It should not function like I'm driving a Mack Truck. Firefox, you need to fix this so Facebook functions normally.

Suddenly I cannot search from the search bar. It defaults to the address bar. why "fix" something that was not broken. Being forced to use the address bar is frustrating. If you go directly to the address bar, it tells you it cannot find that site.

All of a sudden I have had problems getting into my gmail or anything Google through Firefox. I have tried deleting cookies and it would work. Now it will not work at all. What has Firefox done? How can I fix this?

unable to load X.com. Shows Firefox Enhanced Tracking as "strict". in FireFox settings, it show i'm at "standard, not Strict". Have refreshed tabs as instructed. No change. Still cant load X.com.

I have a few websites that are consistently unable to load or give out shortly after they do. The two websites I have the greatest issues with are kingarthurbaking.com and Pinterest. Both can load fine on other browers. I am running Windows 11 25H2.

Steps I have taken thus far that did not resolve: Clearing all cache and cookies Setting both "always block" and "always allow" cookies for the sites in question Disabling all extensions Running Firefox in troubleshooting mode Disabling hardware acceleration on Firefox and Windows Refreshing Firefox Completely uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox Screwing around with network.http.max-connections (a hail mary suggestion from a 2011 article)

Clearing all browsing history will let Pinterest load, but I can't search or navigate from the main page without encountering another infinite load and I can't scroll down far before images stop loading. I'm not fond of clearing my entire browser history every time I want to load anything in Pinterest or on King Arthur. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have Version 115.37.0esr (64-bit). When I click Check For Updates, it says I'm updated to the current version, but apparently the current version is 152.0.6. Why can't I get this version?

Firefox Support.

I receive email messages from members in this forum in Chrome. It is very difficult to find the messages here when I logged in. If possible, can a reference number be provided with the message.

I never log out and if possible I prefer to stay logged in. The main topic seems to be about "Inbuilt adblockers" Some of the messages are a bit rude about the above. I don't appreciate those type of messages.

But I do agree if there could be an adblocker in Firefox in my Android phone, Browser extensions are uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger and CanvasBlocker. They don't block ads. uBlock Origin "Element Picker Mode" works perfectly on my PC but not all on my Android Phone. I appreciate very much how Firefox can be configured more than all the browsers combined, to provide extreme protection and privacy. In addition with MullvadVPN.

I received a message from Microsoft a few days ago and they have extended Windows 10 Security updates to 12 October 2027.

I'm suddenly getting repeated/multiple Mozilla Firefox "Browser Alerts", "System Warnings," and "McAfee Critical Virus Alerts" that are wrong and dysfunctional. They pop up every few seconds. They contain "Remove virus now" and "quick scan" buttons, but these only take me to a bright red screen that says:

"Deceptive site ahead Firefox blocked this page because it may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing personal information like passwords or credit cards."

These come even though I haven't tried to access any "deceptive sites." I have to x all of them out to clear my screen.

There's obviously a defect in your warning system. How do I stop this?

Currently, my Firefox Browser continues operating under Windows 10, without a known Windows 11, operating Browser update correction! Is there a solution to this problem?

I contacted Mozilla Support and was issued a ticket ID that is 438455!
