I have used FF on my laptop for many years and AVG AntiTrack on it for 1-1/2 yr without issue. However, today I got a message that appears to be from AVG (but also includes the FF logo) that their AntiTrack is disabled and I need to add it to FireFox, with a "Resolve" button and NO way to close the message. How do I know if it is true or an attempt to hack me? Have there been any other reports of this happening to others? TIA, KBoDolphin

Steps which do not work or lead to a previous page which was not helpful ! " Recently Closed Tabs" or History will NOT open the latest tabs. Click to ??? "whatever" is incomplete 'cause you do not tell us WHERE IT IS LOCATED. Backup" is assumed by you, but no information to set it up! Bottom line.: when Firefox crashes, we [the user] is screwed!!

Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks. There are way too many annoying updates and they all need admin login -- which doesn't work. How can I turn these off?

I'm switching browsers until these weekly updates are stopped.

All too frequently, I receive messages as seen on the two enclosed screen dumps. When I click on the "Try again" button, I usually get through to the site I'm trying to reach. But today, I got the other response when attempting to log in to your site. Could that be another version of the usual response to all other sites. Could there be something that is intercepting my requests?

P.S. I access the internet from a Lenovo Ideapad running Windows 11 fully updated.

I used to have a blank space on the tool bar where I could search for new pages or information. Trying to find and reinstall on "Customize the Toolbar" was not successful. I have 13 items on the toolbar, and at times going to the >> would open a space to type my search. Now does not work. What do I need to do to have it back. I have not added more items to the tool bar. This space seems to have disappeared. Thanks in advance for your help to resolve this issue.

I can’t join any meeting in freenotes app it is saying to update safari but my safari is already up to date and when im going for other options like installing firefox or something again it shows me issues with them

I was having problems with overlays and somehow got to a page that allowed me to turn off overlays....I ignored the warning about some sites would not work properly and turned it on....now most sites do not work properly. I cannot find the page in setting to turn overlays back on. i have uninstalled and reinstalled with no results. I cannot find the page even on my other computers that i did not mess with. Where do i go to turn that switch back on?
