I cannot use 'Windows Snipping Tool' to screen-capture some information on 'Protected Content' on Mozilla Firefox. Is there a reason for this? Thank you.

I can create a Firefox account with outlook.com and gmail.com but not hey.com. The verification code is never being sent. I have checked that this is not being filtered or screened out by Hey. Is there any known issue from Mozilla?

For years, I've been looking for a way to disable the space bar from acting as a page down button, including trying out scripts to solve it, but please let users disable that shortcut in the about:config page.

It is difficult for me, since I see that ability to change what the backspace does is available, but there's no option for the space bar. The space bar is something that I often accidentally hit, and it would be of immense relief to me to no longer have that issue of it paging down what I reading. This is my request, and there are others who also feel similarly.

Aiming to reduce memory used by my email. I have both Sent and Sent Mail folders. My preference would be to eliminate the duplication that takes place with the two. I understand that I can not unsubscribe from Sent Mail. Could Sent content be reduced to the items that are NOT in Sent Mail? Alternatives? My Sent folder contains more older files which I would like to retain but do not want to "try" something that MIGHT eliminate them. I am on a Mac23 with Latest Sonoma. Thunderbird on Gmail.

NO flltering system is perfect, so a real live human bean needs to check what Gmail and/or Thunderbird has classified as Spam and retrieve the few valid messages. But unless Thunderbird displays NUMBER of messages waiting there, I'm not reminded to check. Is there some parameter I need to set to make it do that?

I realize that if a file is served with mime type Content-Type: application/pgp-encrypted, then its extension is changed by Firefox on Android to ".pgp". Apparently, Firefox for Android likes to modify extensions based on mime type.

Can this behavior be disabled?

Hello. I am using Win11 and have been a Mozilla Thunderbird user for many years. Today I cannot open Thunderbird due to a "side-by-side" error. See image attached. I am not very computer savvy and therefor find some of the suggested solutions on the web rather difficult to understand and apply. I would appreciate any help you can be. I need to move about 50-100 emails from one profile to another.

I am using the current Thunderbird and using POP3 on a PC running Windows 10.

I lost thousands of emails (not sure why) but after a few days was able to set up the profile from a backup to recover them.

Now I need to get the emails that came in and were sent during the week it took me to set up the backup profile.

I have Thunderbird in 3 computers. I downloaded the upgrade this week and a lot of changes took place. Then I got locked out? All kinds of colors turned themselves on, then it kept asking me if I wanted to change a function???? I kept saying no, then yes. It continued to ask. Turned off the computer and worried if I get my old stuff back. Today it is working but incoming mail is in the lower part of the screen, old mail is in the top. How do I go back to the old version. This is my desktop

I just turned on my laptop and it asked me to upgrade. NOPE! I've used you guys for years and only made a small donation, sorry. Didn't know you have an app for my Android??? Would have tried it. Does your browser follow and track me like Chrome, which I hate. I will aways speak well of you guys even if I can't go back to the older version. See ya, Randy

I hope someone can provide me with some advice.

I have used Thunderbird since its birth and have always found it reliable. However the latest release seems to be having problems with moving emails.

Example 1 - I moved an email from my Inbox to a special folder. The email was present in full before the move. Only the header appeared to be copied. I could not undo this and attempting repair on both inbox and other folder failed, as did exit and re-start. The result is that this email is lost.

Example 2 - I went to do a bulk move from the search window (something I have done hundreds of times before without incident). As usual CTRL A, Move to <new folder>, emails greyed out but nothing happens. Exit, return, repeat - same result.

At other times, both these type of operations work fine. But it is unpredictable.

Relatedly, I observe that on start-up the Inbox initially shows as <no messages> and takes several seconds to populate. Also, my auto-filing Rules are also working inconsistently.

These two points, and the two examples, are new issues for me since 128 release. I am using Windows 10 Pro on an HP Envy 17" laptop.

Any suggestions welcome as I am now concerned about losing emails!

If I open an E-mail and click FORWARD then change the send to address and make some changes in that E-mail then click SEND will that show up in my SEND ITEMS list??

If so how long should that take?? Do I need to close the E-mail Thunderbird and then reopen it to see the message that I sent via FORWARD??

I did this and the FORWARDED E-mail did not show in my SENT ITEM list??

Am I doing something wrong?? BOB

I finally upgraded TB v102 to v115 (115.15.0) on Windows 10. I got this version working fine and looking similar to v102. When I tried to attach a PDF to a new email, via drag'n drop to the email compose window, it doesn't work. I open TB in administrator mode. I can use the time-consuming attach via the button and selection.

It seems this has been commented on via the Internet but I am having a hard time believing that drag'n drop attachment no longer works. What setting am I missing?

bold text I had just used firefox to file something with the California Second District Court of Appeal and when I went to use it again, the following appeared on my screen: X The procedure entry point SECITEM_FreeArray could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll and then X Couldn't locate XPCOM appeared when I clicked ok at the bottom of the first message.

I need to get reconnected immediately. Please help. Thank you.

I have used Firefox for years. Suddenly it won't allow login to www.artstorefronts.com and provides the message "reCAPTCHA verification failed." First, there is NO reCAPTCHA "test" on this website that one must enter correctly. Second, I am able to login OK using Chrome or Edge. Third, I have discussed with the website owner and based on my ability to login with both Chrome, Edge and my iPhone (via Firefox), it's pretty clear that the issue is with Firefox on my Win 11 desktop computer. Yes, I have deleted "cookies" related to the particular website with no change. Thanks for any ideas, as Firefox personnel cannot help with this.
