When I try to browse a website, icons I should be able to access are not available.
I see them, but can't click on them. It is as if I don't have access? Maybe a setting on my PC is disabling my ability to do this?

First you should update your Firefox to the latest version i.e. Firefox 12.
-> Download Firefox 12 from the following link:
-> Now Install Firefox 12 using the following link:
Check and tell if its working after updating Firefox.
did that. No impact. Doesnt appear to have anything to do with this issue.
->Perform the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:
-> Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
- Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Check and tell if its working.
for example - on this firefox help page, i can not open my inbox. Nothing happens when i left click it. And when I right click, i can see the <open>,<open in new tab>, and <open in New Window>. But they are not in bold, and I can not click on them to access them.
Did you try Clearing Cookies & Cache as mentioned in my previous reply ??
I did both. No change.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

looks like my Kaspersky Security software is not compatible. Should i use a earlier version of firefox, then? Would this even be the problem?
