Hi all :)

Before you could open any profile just with command line
thunderbird --profile /path/of/profile
and now it does not seem possible because when I do it TB asks to create a new email account.

How to keep doing it ?

Thank you in advance for your help :) With adelphity estebann

It is possible you are opening the correct profile, but the profile does not know what mail accounts it contains. Perhaps the 'prefs.js' file has lost information.

In your profile name folder, how many 'prefs.js' files do you see? What size is the 'prefs.js' file ? is it rather small eg: 8kb or reasonable size eg:78kb

Do you see some additional ones with a number eg: 'prefs-1.js'? If yes, Look for the one with the highest number eg: 'prefs-3.js' which has a good size - you need to rename this, but first rename 'prefs.js' with a number a lot higher than the others eg: 'prefs-20.js' Then, rename the 'prefs-3.js' to 'prefs.js'

then try to open thunderbird.
