I am testing Thunderbird v80b5 and migrate (copied) my existing profile, which, among other things, hold the addon Cardbook. Everything works fine and the addon shows in the Addon Manager as "Enabled". However, both the button and the link under the scroll-down menu "Tools" have disappeared, so I can't actually access it.

Cardbook was showing everywhere (except the button) and fully working on Thunderbird v78.

Thank YOU.

HI and thanks. TBH, I'm not sure how they relate. Are you sure you posted the right link?

Maybe more similar to this (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1611349) but in my case I can see the addon in the ADD-ONS link in the TOOLS main menu and if I follow that, which leads to the ADD-ONS MANAGER (aka "MANAGE YOUR EXTENSIONS), I can also see the CARDBOOK addon and have access to the settings. However, CARDBOOK is supposed to appear also directly in the TOOLS main menu to actually being able to access it and its address books.

Images added for clarity.

Cardbook was prepared for TB78 but it was not really tested on Beta. The developer did not set a max_version so Cardbook installs in Beta.

I will send this info to the developer.
