Mozilla Thunderbird constantly and repeatedly compiles summary files for folders
Import 4G Mbox in the Thunderbird folder. Each time you click on the folder, the folder cannot be used, and the bottom left corner of the main program prompts "Compile Summary File for XXX", and it takes a few minutes to compile. The filter cannot filter the message to the specified folder. How to solve this problem?

Is this folder on a non local disk, or synced. There appears to be lots of folk placing Thunderbird data on things like drop box with some truly bizarre issues caused by slow updates over a network and file contention.
Folder is on NAS storage?

I am using a 512GB hard drive, and the Windows 10 and Email folders are on the same disk.
