My Mom and I both use firefox and are considering switching, we both are having major isuues with websites freezing, it seems to be ones that use adobe flash,
The page freezes and you can not exit page or switch to a different one. the only way to get out is use task manager and then when you start firefox again it says do you want to close firefox. This happens a lot to both of us on different computers. Is there a fix? It seems like my firefox is not using Adobe flash and pages get stuck on loading?

Is this with many websites, some, a few?
Remove Flash Player using these links; Uninstall Flash Player | Windows {web link} Uninstall Flash Player | Mac {web link}
Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Try setting the Flash Player Plugin to Click to Activate in the Addons Manager. Flash will then not load unless you click on the lego.
Some sites may however require you to set Flash as always activate and reload the page for any Flash you want to load.
