My first time using Firefox Quantum, and planned on switching from Chrome to here. Everything else is great so far, but a major problem for me has occurred on YouTube. I can watch videos, but the comment section is continuously loading, and it never loads even after waiting 15 minutes. Also when I click my profile picture to try to sign in/out to another account or to check my settings, the same problem occurs with the loading icon forever. I'm not sure what causes this, as I disabled all my extensions, and even refreshed the Firefox browser completely, and basically starting new, but the same problem is still there. YouTube on Chrome works perfectly fine, so I assume it's not a YouTube problem but something with Firefox. I would appreciate any help or recommendations to help fix this, as I was happy to make the switch to Firefox but that might have to wait as I use YouTube daily.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}
