In the last month, when I open Firefox and my home page MSN It says THIS PAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW. About every few days it then opens and its fine for a couple of days and then shows the message and not home page which lasts a few long days. I called Cox cable, my internet provider and she says she get the home page on her computer..but I can not . She said to have your Firefox to help. I have went to Bing and Google and tried everything they say about the problem and still nothing works. Could you please help me with this problem. Yes, I can live with out MSN home page, but I like it and have it for a very long time. I went to my Internet Explorer and it too shows the same message. I have run malware and Antivirus programs and can not find anything that will help. Thanks

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.

Are you using a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website? If you use a bookmark or use a link that has specific GET data appended to the link to open a specific page on the server then try to navigate to that page starting with the main page or the sign in page in case this bookmark or link is currently broken.

It is best to avoid bookmarking a page that has possibly been requested by sending a form with POST data or that might expire otherwise because the link is no longer valid.
