Search suggestions are popular searches that match what you're typing in the address bar. This is enabled by default. To turn them off, follow these steps:
At the bottom of the screen, tap the menu button (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):
- Tap in the menu panel.
- Tap .
- Tap the switch next to Show Search Suggestions to turn it off or on .
- Tap the Settings back arrow on the top left to return to the Settings menu.
- Tap Done to save your changes.
