scrubbing youtube while on bluetooth headphones produces crackling and popping

I just purchased bose 700s and I can hear noises for a fraction of a second every time I move the video forward beyond what is already in the buffer. On chrome the scrubbing is perfectly fine. It is really annoying, any help? Thanks! pd. I noticed this doesn't happen with another pair of headphones so the 700s in themselves play a factor. However it never happens when using chrome so I guess is the combination of the two-
