Hello,

When I open firefox, It goes to "Hi.ru" Instead of my homepage, I checked it multiple times that it's google, I checked Mozilia's Propperties like a thread said and nothing was there, I checked about:config and it says broswer.startup.homepage was google.com,

You can check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure that nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
