I play and have always played Crystal Saga from Firefox no problems till recent upgrade now when I log in it does not show my avatar and when i log in it hangs.

http://cs.r2games.com/ this is the game I play. Been off the internet for about 5 months. Upgraded my firefox yesterday when I was reconnected. When I logged into Crystal Saga the first time the graphics for my avatar was missing and the graphics in the big box to the right of my log in avatar was missing. (this box holds different videos of promotions for the game). I did a restart with no add ons to see if this would fix the problem. It fixed the box with the videos and still no graphics. From both of these if you log in you get a black screen with a white circle that keeps moving as if it is loading and no matter how long it sits it does not load the character screen. I can log into the game with no problem from any other browser. I love firefox and do not want to have to use another browser. I can find no one that knows of this problem and how to fix it. I searched your site for a few hours and found nothing. So am now trying this. :) <3

Chosen solution

Solved the Problem Tonight. It had to do with Windows 7. Windows Defender has exception lists. I was smart enough to add Mozzilla along time ago to exceptions and had no problems. After the update is when I started have problems with my game Crystal Saga. All I had to do was Add Crystal Saga and ESET NOD32 to the exception list and I am up and running fine and back with Mozzilla. YAY! Which makes me very Happy. <3

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:


  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.
