There are prefs available on the about:config page to define what appears in this jump list.

Setting browser.taskbar.lists.enabled to false removes everything from the jump list.

For other section there are specific prefs that you can set to false.

  • browser.taskbar.lists.frequent.enabled
  • browser.taskbar.lists.recent.enabled
  • browser.taskbar.lists.tasks.enabled

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
