I can't use a camera in WebRTC, but the problem is only in Windows 10 Pro. Hints ?

When I try to use any web page with WebRTC, such as https://mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html or https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/getusermedia/resolution/ I get an error "NotReadableError: Failed to allocate videosource"

But only on Windows 10 Pro. Not on Centos6 or 7, or on Windows 7 or 8. I have tried 3 different though similar systems with Windows 10, tried different user accounts, tried nightly Firefox, but always the same error (and no video feed)

I subscribed to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1418827 but there have been no updates.

Hi

I have had similar issues myself recently (Firefox Nightly on Ubuntu 17.10) and I found that I needed to toggle the webcam function key on the keyboard (Fn+F10) to make it work.

Have you tried the equivalent yourself?

I just tried F10, but I'm not sure it's relevant. I don't have a laptop, I have desktops with PCI and USB capture devices. On the PC I'm using now, there's an Apple keyboard. The cameras work for other apps, and in Chrome. It's only Firefox that fails.
