thunderbird deleted 2 1/2 years of email from 2 different accounts
I have a client that a range of 2.,5 years of email from 2 separate accounts were deleted.
Everything from Feb 2015 to June 2017 is missing from 2 separate accounts inside of one profile. Nothing in trash and all accounts are set to not delete anything..
Any suggestions?

the emails may still be "alive" per se.
what could be done is to try to re-index the email folder. but i am not sure how tbird accomplishes this, unless its with the "compact" option.
another trick that might work is to create a new inbox and try importing that old inbox on the computer "or" re-downloading the inbox from the webserver.
