Hi, In company where I work everyone uses Thunderbird as an e-mail client and we are very satisfied. But, in last 10 days we cannot send mails via Thunderbird. There is no any error message, but recepients don't receive our mails. Sending to other people in our company (with e-mails in our domain) works. Other e-mail clients work (i.e. Outlook), but we are very satisfied with Thunderbird and we are eager to continue its use.

Chosen solution

Turning off anti-virus software entirely isn't really the solution as it would leave you entirely unprotected. However, you should turn off things possibly interfering with Thunderbird, i.e.

Create an exception in your anti-virus software for the Thunderbird profile folder, so that the anti-virus real-time scanner will not scan it. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird

Don't let your anti-virus software scan incoming and outgoing messages.

Don't let your anti-virus software scan attachments.

Don't let your anti-virus software intercept your secure connection to the server.

Remove any add-ons your anti-virus software may have installed in Thunderbird.

If you need help to make these adjustments in Kaspersky please contact them or use their support forum.

Do you see a copy of the sent message(s) in the Sent folder?

Yes,messages are visible in Sent folder, but recepient doesn't get any. Settings have not been changed, it suddenly stopped delivering mails about 10-15 days ago

I think I found the cause of the problem. We use Kaspersky antivirus , and when I temporarily turn it off, messages are delivered.
